We provide a range of high-quality support services, including School Leavers Employment Support (SLES), Short-Term Accommodation (STA), Social Weekends, After-School Clubs, Personal Training, and a Young Adult Day Program (YADP). With a strong focus on health and wellbeing, and operating from an outstanding facility, our experienced and dedicated staff offer exceptional care to help clients achieve their NDIS Goals and Independence.
Our History
Specialcise traces its roots back to 2016 when it was conceived as an idea, and in 2018, Specialcise embarked on an incredible journey driven by a profound passion to transform the lives of people with disabilities. What began as a small gym in Southport, founded by Maree and Kane, quickly grew into a thriving community. Recognizing the need for a safe and inclusive fitness environment, we provided young people with disabilities the opportunity to access their dreams and reach their full potential.
As our community expanded, so did our services. We ventured beyond fitness, organizing unforgettable weekend experiences that fostered connection and joy. The positive atmosphere, love, and goal achievement at Specialcise captivated young individuals, leading to remarkable growth. In 2021, we outgrew our humble beginnings and transitioned into a spacious functional facility, complete with a SLES classroom, learning kitchen, Specialcise Bus, gym, allied health services, craft room, chill-out zone and more.
At Specialcise, our journey extends beyond the walls of our facility. We actively engage with the community, assisting clients in achieving independence goals through short-term accommodations and various outreach programs. Our commitment to excellence led to the creation of Specialcise Central, a hub that embodies our dedication to providing exceptional services.
We have come a long way, and we invite the disability community to join us on this remarkable journey. Together, we can continue to make a profound impact, empowering individuals to overcome challenges, unlock their potential, and create a future filled with possibilities.
