We would like to put a spotlight on our amazing SLES students who have hit the ground running since starting employment at Zarraffa’s. We also want to talk about how grateful we are for the inclusive work environment created by the team at Zarraffa’s on Olsen Avenue, Gold Coast. When you take a chance on hiring an employee with a disability, you can be sure that you will gain a very loyal, determined and big hearted member of the team!

Our three students who are now employed by Zarraffa’s have been made to feel very welcome, and they have reached incredible milestones on their employment journey. This includes making coffees, preparing food, serving customers, and much more! Just like our motto ‘Never underestimate what someone is capable of if given the opportunity’, the team at Zarraffa’s really saw the potential of these students and we are so glad that they did.

Our Workplace Connect program is part of our School Leavers Employment Support (SLES) Program. We actively engage with employers and build lasting relationships to help give our students the best opportunities.
